Hard Drive Shredding & Destruction
Is Your Hard Drive Disposal Process Flawed?
Your seemingly-unworkable or old hard drives are high-value targets for sophisticated operators hoping to find sensitive data that may include sensitive corporate records or personal information belonging to your employees and clients. If compromised, your business may not be able to recover from the resulting litigation, bad publicity and data breach notification costs.
And when your outdated computers and other devices are improperly discarded, your risk increases dramatically. Even if you’ve deleted the “files” using standard software programs, sensitive information and data is easily recoverable on your hard drives by anyone with the right tools and specialized skills.
Don’t make this kind of mistake.
Employ Hard Drive Shredding Services by TechnoCycle
TechnoCycle’s hard drive shredding and destruction services ensure that the confidential data housed on your old, unusable and inactive hard drives is permanently destroyed. We offer plant-based hard drive shredding at our secure facility as well as on-site NAID AAA Certified Mobile Destruction using our mobile shredding truck. We serve clients throughout greater Houston, The Woodlands, Sugar Land and the entire surrounding region of Texas.
With either off-site or on-site hard drive destruction, TechnoCycle provides a reliable solution for preventing your data from being compromised. Simply choose the option that works best for you.
Off-Site Hard Drive Shredding & Destruction
With our off-site service, TechnoCycle picks up your hard drives and transports them to our secure shredding plant for destruction. We use strict chain of custody procedures during the pickup, transport and shredding processes. Only uniformed and background-screened shredding technicians handle your media. An alarmed, GPS-tracked vehicle is used for transport to our facility, and all unloading takes place in a secure and monitored area.
After receiving your request for the destruction of your hard drives or other media storing devices, a five-digit unique lot number is assigned for the service. We collect the items and return them to our facility where they are weighed in and then stored securely in preparation to be manifested. All assets collected from your location are included in a manifest that lists each item with its serial number, make, model, or any other identifying information before each is destroyed.
TechnoCycle’s hard drive shredding options include full shredding which rips each hard drive into tiny pieces, rendering them unreadable and ensuring your sensitive data isn’t exposed. We also provide a punch option. No matter how many hard drives you need to be destroyed, we complete the task quickly. Our hard drive shredder can destroy 10-12 hard drives per minute!
For your peace of mind, the TechnoCycle facility has several layers of security to protect your assets including:
- A building security system with contact sensors and motion detectors, and
- A redundant, and independently monitored, camera/motion monitoring system, and
- An employee badged entry system to eliminate unauthorized access to the facility, and
- A 36-camera system that is recording facility operations 24/7.
On-Site Hard Drive Shredding at Your Location
To meet your privacy requirements, we also offer convenient, onsite NAID AAA Certified Mobile Destruction. Our mobile destruction vehicles shred your media quickly and discreetly on-site at your office. In similar ways to our off-site service, our on-site service also captures all serial numbers for your hard drives and other media assets, before the shredding process in which are reduced to tiny particles in a matter of minutes. The entire shredding process can be witnessed first hand, and for further verification, a manifest and Certificate of Destruction is provided upon completion of the destruction process.
The only way to make sure the information on your discarded hard drives is protected from security breaches and cybercrimes is through professional, physical destruction.
